West Hills Golf Course Update-April 16th,2021
Good Afternoon Everyone,
We can’t wait to welcome you all here for an incredible 2021 golf season at West Hills. With spring temperatures beginning to break through and the snow mostly gone, we’re sure you’re all getting as excited as we are about a great golf season. With our clubhouse expansion and few other projects currently underway, it is shaping up to be a year to remember.
With that being said, we are getting plenty of calls at the Pro Shop about our opening day for the golf course and driving range. Before we can have an opening date for the golf course set in stone, there are many variables that must be considered. We can assure you that Adam and his team are doing everything in their power to have the golf course ready for play as quickly as possible. We are currently targeting our traditional opening date of mid May, but are optimistic with good weather and some luck we might be earlier. As for the driving range, the current ground saturation is what is delaying our opening. It’s very important to have the range dry enough to collect the golf balls. We don’t want to get into a situation where we open for a few days, just to have to close again.
