Good afternoon members,
I wanted to remind everyone that the deadline to sign up for the Club Championship(s) is Friday, August 23 at 10:00am.
Entry Fee: $40 per player – includes prizes and pizza. An optional $10 skins game each day. (It is cash only for all fees)
Tee Times will start at 8:00 am daily and pizza will be scheduled for after the round on Saturday August the 24th.
Prizes: There will be multiple gross and net prizes with each division (depending on participation). To be eligible for net prizes, participants must have and be maintaining an active Golf Canada Gold Membership handicap. If you require one or are unsure if you have one please speak with any clubhouse staff or myself regarding this. There will also be a Long Drive and a Closest to the Pin prize each day for each division.
We will be offering regular tee times in the afternoon once the final number of participants is determined. An announcement for available tee times will be made on Friday morning after the deadline.

Good afternoon members,
I wanted to remind everyone that West Hills is hosting the UNB Men’s Basketball
Don Nelson Shootout on Thursday, August 15th with a shotgun start at
1pm. (Please remember that our calendar of events/schedule was given out
to all members in their welcome package)
Since golf will be limited on that day, we will be offering the following
“Member Only” Shotgun, same format as last week:
–7am Start Thursday, August
15 (We would ask all golfers to arrive at 6:45am sharp so we can
start at 7am and so we can get the golfers that are walking out to their
starting hole)
–Maximum 20 Power carts
(Please understand that we would like to offer all 44 carts, but with the round
finishing at 11:30am, it would not leave us enough time to clean all 44 carts
and have them signed and ready for the tournament – Also, we will be placing
players in the power carts at the holes that are the furthest away)
–72 Players – (72 spots available,
which would be a 4-some on all 18 holes) – Round
must end by 11:30am, so we ask all golfers to start to
leave the course at 11:30am so we are able to setup.
–There will be 2 options to book – Call the
Clubhouse 450-4653 or arrive at the clubhouse (Since not
all members book online and to try to make this as least complicated and fair
as possible, we are offering these 2 options. Please remember that we
only have 3 phones, so patience would be appreciated)
-Reserve your spot/group at – 7am, Tuesday August
13th (We will start taking calls and open the
clubhouse at 7am Tuesday morning and to help make this fair and accommodating,
each member can book in his or her 4-player group so everyone doesn’t need to
call or show up to the clubhouse. Also, you must reserve your power cart
at the time of booking, if available. We will be working as hard as
possible to accommodate everyone, so patience would be appreciated.

2019 Club Championships
Date: August 24th– 25th
Format: 36 holes – Stroke Play
Entry Fee: $40 per player – includes prizes and pizza. An optional $10 skins game each day. Entry fee must be paid by August 22th and is cash only.
Tee Times will start at 8:00 am daily and pizza will be scheduled for after the round on Saturday August the 24th.
Divisions: Men (under 59), Senior Men (60+) and Ladies (under 59), Senior Ladies (60+).
These divisions may include 2-3 different division flights depending on participation.
The Men (under 59) will play from the White tees while the Senior Men (60+) will play from the Red tees. The ladies (under 59) will play from the Red tees while Senior Ladies (60+) will play from the Yellow tees.
*Men, senior men, ladies and senior ladies who want to be eligible for the respective title, must play from the tee decks that are defined above.
